Filmed in 2008 during round 6 of the AFM's Formula Pacific Championship. Riding onboard with Cory Call, mostly chasing the 2008 #1 plate Dave Stanton. Also appearing in the video is Pacific Tracktime owner Michael Earnest, Brian Parriot of San Jose BMW, and a few other of the AFM's top riders.
Cory was able to clinch the #2 plate for the year.
Old Habits
Created in June of 2007, I made this video on Mosquito Ridge Road; one of my all time favorite roads in California. I wanted something down-tempo...something to match more of the way I feel when bombing my way through the 600-odd corners that Mosquito Ridge Road has to offer.
In May of 2008, I crashed pretty bad on this road. I became overly comfortable, given that I'd previously lived on MRR and had done many thousands of miles carving up and down MRR, and I highsided my Thundercat, Kitty. I broke my back, fractured ribs, and was generally mangled up. I was helicoptered off the mountain and flown to a Level 1 trauma center. This was actually the last video I ever made while riding on the street, as I have since given up riding motorbikes on the street, and I now ride dirt and the racetrack exclusively.
Session - When the Big Boys Play
This was my very first track video I ever made. In September of 2005 during a Keigwin's track event at Thunderhill Raceway, the final session of the day was a "special session." Only the fastest of norcal's fast guys were allowed out there to zip around and be show-off hooligans for the small crowd that had gathered along the hotpit wall.
Riding onboard with Rweezy (who is also in several other of my videos) chasing the likes of Cory Call, Michael Earnest (of Pacific Tracktime), Harley Barnes (who runs the trackside Bridgestone tires truck), and Billy Scott (also with Bridgestone).
Werd - A Compilation
Created during a month of non-riding downtime in November of 2007 after a little "mishap" on Kings Ridge Road, I pulled various footage from over the years and made this. My mishap, by the way, was a low speed front end tuck that ended up with my footpeg impaling me through the boot and into the foot. Argh!
Some of the roads in this video inlcude Coleman Valley Road, Hwy 128, Hwy 1 (Pacific Coast Highway), The Drum Forebay Spillway, Hwy 49, Wentworth Springs Road, Kings Ridge Road, Hwy 121, Hwy 229 (AKA Valentino Rossi's Driveway), Wise Road, and a couple others that I don't think I ever even knew the names of.
