soooooo… i met up with chris from pirelli (trackmonkey) and we went to vegas for the 2nd round of wera… i brought the gixxer too, for some mucking about akshunz.

we landed in vegas on thursday night. i really didn’t feel like lugging around the camera on the strip or anything, so i actually ended up taking ZERO pics of the

bike+lights or anything. who cares about all that anyways?

instead, on friday EARLY morning, before going to the track, i rode out to red rock canyon. it was cold. REALLY cold.

i got to red rock and it was still ultra cold, but the sun was finally starting to warm up

i continued on taking pics here and there.

i love joshua trees. they’re ugly and spikey and messy…but they’re resilient. maybe that’s why i like em.

so i headed back to the track after a while… it was a trackday, and attendance was VERY light. i didn’t really know ANYONE out there, and i got bored after a while…

so i left again and headed out towards Nellis Dunes OHV.

it was pretty hazy.

from this angle, you can see the strip in the background. we stayed 3 nights at the Stratosphere (the tall, space needle looking thing)

there weren’t very many people out there. maybe 6 or 7 trucks with trailers… every single one of them gave me a pretty funny look though while i was hitting some hill

climbs. haha!

i bet you’re wondering how i got up there, eh? hehe.

it was pretty steep. the HARD part is getting back down.

i didn’t really take anymore pics after this. i shot the wera races all sat and sun, and franky, it kinda ruins my motivation to work on any more pics. on the way

home, i did ride del puerto canyon to mines rd into livermore… here’s the last pic from my journey home…
